2016 Pariscience Festival: science, films and debates
The international scientific film festival, Pariscience, will be taking place from October 6 to 11, 2016 in Paris. Open to the public free of charge, the festival offers 6 days of projections and debates in 3 movie theaters in Paris's 5th arrondissement. Join Irstea and other research organization event partners.
Around 50 films will be shown free of charge in 3 cinemas around Paris, followed by debates with film crews and scientific experts at Pariscience, the international scientific film festival that will be taking place in Paris from October 6 to 11, 2016.
From astronomy to sustainable development, life sciences, chemistry and physics, the festival will cover a wide range of fields, offering something for everyone. It's a great opportunity for young and old alike to discover science through the 7th art.
As an event partner, Irstea will be there on October 9 for a film showing and debate on The Man Who Wanted to Change the World, by Mariëtte Faber (The Netherlands – 90 minutes – 2016). The film director and Charles Perrin, a hydrologist at Irstea, will be ready to answer all your questions.
