Our Scientific and Technical Infrastructures Available to Companies

Our scientific and technical infrastructures are available to companies. Irstea has technological research platforms which can support research and development and include technical support, experimentation equipment and testing; they all constitute a special interface with the socio-economic sector and especially with SMCs and SMIs.

An internal network of seven platforms is available to share common ambitions in terms of quality assurance systems (certification and accreditation), best practices (metrology and data management, confidentiality, respect for schedules, etc.), technological and economic watch as well as the use of "quality indicators" in technologies, equipment and processes (Ecolabel, ETV European system: Environmental Technology Verification, etc.)

Four of these are dedicated to the agro-equipment sector (agro-equipment, fertilisation, crop protection, irrigation), two concern hydraulic and storage equipment (geo-synthetic and geo-mechanical) and the last one focuses on the agro-food sector (RMN-IRM).

This network is associated with other Carnot Institute platforms working in the environmental sector and thus provides a complete range of services.
