Disability Recruitment

As a worker with a disability, you now qualify for a one-year fixed-term contract which can eventually be renewed once. At the end of the contract and following consultation with a professional jury, you can be granted tenure without passing a competitive exam.
Reference: Article 27 of law no. 84-16 of 11 January 1984 (modified)

To benefit from this system, you must be a recognised work obligation beneficiary.
This system cannot be applied to workers with disabilities who are already in the civil service.

You have the possibility, under certain conditions, of requesting recognition of equivalence:

  • for diplomas which do not figure on the list of required diplomas
  • for diplomas delivered or recognised by one of the Member States of the European Union or by one of the signatory states of the European Economic Area agreement
  • for acquired professional qualifications.
