IST at Irstea

Scientific and Technical Information (IST) is coordinated by the Forecasting & Scientific and Technical Monitoring Department  which leads a network of nine IST resource centres distributed amongst different regional centres.

This system provides access to knowledge, assists researchers in disseminating and developing work and accompanies decision-makers in their strategic monitoring actions.

Its organisation favours the creation of competence centres around cross-disciplinary projects whilst enabling IST resource centres to provide services locally.
