To get to the Irstea Rennes Centre
From the station, take the metro line A in headed for J.F. Kennedy, get off at Villejean Université, then take either:
- bus no. 4 bound for Beauregard, then get off at the stop Olympe de Gouges. Continue on Avenue de Cucillé until you get to number 17 on the right side of the avenue about 100 m down (same entrance as number 15).
- bus no. 30 and get off at the stop Olympe de Gouges. Continue on Avenue de Cucillé until you get to number 17 on the right side of the avenue about 100 m down (same entrance as number 15).

Irstea is located on the north-western outskirts of Rennes. It is recommended to use the southern or Northern bypass (if you’re coming from Paris, Le Mans, Laval, Rouen, etc.) and Western (if you’re coming from Nantes, Bordeaux, etc.) in the direction of Saint-Malo.
Get off the bypass at the exit ‘Beauregard’ (stay on the right lane). On avenue Charles Tillon, at the 3rd light, get in the left lane and turn left on avenue Bois Labbé (Beauregard administration) then at the roundabout, take the first exit to the right:
At Avenue de Cucillé, numbers 15 and 17 share the same entrance. Irstea is located at number 17 on your right.
The closest airport is Rennes Saint-Jacques. From the airport to Irstea, the simplest way is to take a taxi (about 30 euros).
